First Week of School!

Wow 5 days is a lot of days in the first week of school.... but we made it!

I want to give you a quick outline of what to expect:

1.  Today your student should hand you our weekly pink Smith Spokesman and ask you to read it and sign it - to be turned in on Tuesday (since there's no school on Monday).  On the bottom of the Smith Spokesman is a section where you can see what was assigned and if it was turned in by your student.  Remember - it's (almost) never too late to turn in an assignment, albeit 'late'.  

2.  Your students' assignment this weekend is to have their picture taken with their Flat Stanley and have it emailed to me!  Whether you're going out of town or simply snuggled on the couch with a good book - don't forget to invite Flat Stanley.
